Is the disc setup you will be using going to keep your stock knuckles? Or do you have to change out the knuckles for a Ford swap? If the same knuckles you can easily measure how much clearance you have for a TRO (or even a TRU with the larger GM stuff) and go from there. Someone will give you the measurements you need for the rod ends, or you could go to a local shop, buy a rod end, see how it will work with your wheels, then take it back and wait for your whole kit to show up. Assuming it fits of course.

Matt, you still have the drum knuckles with the chevy disk? The 76'-77' tie rod kit wont fit, it will be too wide. As for tie rod over with your rims, there should be plenty of room. I just did a Stone Crusher steering on my buddies 74' with Tom's disc, and the TRO had plenty of room. The GM TRE's will be even lower profile than the heim type, because the drag link connects to the tie rod, instead of being on top of the steering arm like the heim set up.
You'll need the 66'-75 tie rod kit, unless you have the newer knuckles.

...sorry I don't know what TOM's sold me! It is a Front disk conversion kit. I have had it on for almost 2 years now.

I am pretty sure it was something like this: http://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/product.php?category=67&id=1995
