Yeah, that's not good.

It may be time to look into a cut-n-turn for the outer C's to rotate that center section up, or consider a high pinion 44. All of your parts will change over to the HP except for gears (you'll need a reverse rotation set) and the long side inner.

I too plan to run air bumps at some point.
Baja will demand them I think
I plan to run factory style springs so the bumps will be even more valuable.
I raised the axle end of the trac bar with my truss on the front axle and will be running all tubular steering with hiems.
I wonder if all long arms give this same problem, funny how I never heard it mentioned as a con before.....
Good luck.
Chris

Just got off the phone with Jim and he too is baffled at what the problem could be.
He sain that the coil should be binding before the arm hits the frame.
when I get home today I'll be doing some in depth measuring to try and hopefully nail down the problem.

What timing ,,,I just put on a set of WH extended arms and have all the same issues you are having. I thought something was wrong with my frame.
I don't have a straight piece of sheetmetal,,I thought ,,why should my frame be different?:p

I'm also useing 2deg bushings 3-1/2"springs. Try as i might I can't see a good solution other than cutting and turning the C's and longer bumps.

A short turm solution to the U joint angles might be those offset u-joints .
I'm not sure if we could use them in the carden or not .

Between this and the FI I've yet to install it seems Moab is getting too close.
I almost wish this wasn't my daily driver,,,,,,,,,Almost ;D

If you check this thread #23 I have a little more info on what I have had to do to cure the drive line angle. I'm still waiting on the 4 degree bushings to show up that I ordered on Friday but I think they should do the trick. Either way it looks like I'll have to extend the bump stops a bit and plunk down for some air bumps in the near future.
