has anyone heard of a hurst edition bronco?

A little different. Back in the early 80's, in my ninth or tenth grade shop class, I did a sand mold of my ole man's Hurst shifter. I blanked out the "Hurst" with clay. Poured the molten aluminum, finished and tapped. I have swapped it around many vehicles since. Maybe I should polish it again... nah!

That is a Formotion motorcycle "stick on" mount clock.

Someone bought an aftermarket Hurst shifter. Came with some stickers. They installed the shifter and put the stickers on. For $59.99 out of the JC Whitney catalog they made a Hurst Edition. Just like any other car or truck that got a Hurst shifter installed when the column shifter wore out.

I ended up with this Bronco. It was kind of a better buy sight unseen kinda deal. We all know when a complete bronco pops up for 10k or less its gonna sell fairly quickly. The guy had over 150 message and I somehow was the one to get a call back. It was about 2 hrs from me so I loaded the trailer up at 8pm and headed his way. Being it was late and I had to work the next day all I did was glance at the truck and check the title before I loaded it up. After I got it home I looked at it the next morning and its a lot rougher than it looked in the sellers photos. I think I will pass on keeping it so you may see it listed in a couple of weeks. The bronco did have a cactus smasher on it and I really wanted that so I took it off after I got off work the next day. I test fit it on the 70 cause I just had to. Im going to get it powder coated black, but I did think about painting it Carmel bronze! What is yalls vote?

I’d paint it Carmel Bronze……will look cool with the black hood……and that does not look like that bad of a truck for $10K these days (unless you cant see it is just a rust bucket)……
