So as I was waiting for my girls to get done with church tonight I realized my Bronco does not have hazard lights. What would I need to do in order to have some hooked up? Do they sell a kit?

Thanks

The PO must not have hooked it up (along with the horn). There is no wiring leading to it or out. So do you know of a wiring kit or is this just an easy fix?

Thanks

The hazard wiring is included in the column wiring. Probably bad flasher or fuse.

You need to look closer . The wires will be part of the harness going inside the column tube just under the dash . If it's not hooked up there likely will be more wiring issues as the power for your brakes lights , signels etc run thru the hazzard switch . Basic repair is replace the hazzard/turn/horn switch . It's all in one & located under the steering wheel .

Turn signal current runs through hazard switch. Brake light current does not. If the brake and turn lights are working now there is no need to replace the turn signal switch. Bad or missing hazard flasher or fuse #5.

I have a similar issue... Replaced the flasher and it worked once then blew the flasher. Is it possible I got the wrong flasher or do I have a short in the column? Everything else works fine.

Pull the flasher out and check continuity-to-ground on the white-red wire. That will be the one without 12V. If it has continuity you have a short. If no continuity, replace the flasher and check the fuse. Should be no bigger than 20 amp.
