How bad is this pitting on my rear pinion?

My 9" ARB install continues and I found that I have some pits in the end of my pinion gear where the pilot bearing rides. How bad is this? The pitting is only on one side of the pinion and is at the edge of where the pilot bearing rides. This is the only pitting I could find, The actual ring and pinion gears look very good. The Gears did not make any noise or have any problems when I ran them in the original carrier for the past 20+ years

If that were a serface a seal rode on id fill and polish it but should be fine for the inner race of a bearing id think. I have reused worse looking axle shafts and spindles.

When I replaced the bearings, all of them were in pretty good shape but the pinion pilot bearing that rides here seemed like it was pretty loose compared to the new one. If I had a bunch of spare money, I would probably use this as an excuse to change gears.

it wouldnt bother me to run it. None of the other rmanufacturers even use a pilot and they get away with out it.
