While installing my AX 15 noticed the rear intake gasket was the source of my bad oil leak. I thought it was the rear main and I'm glad it was just the intake.

Yes, the "grooved" o-ring is normal. it is called a quad ring. The part number is 386078-S and I got mine on eBay as part of a kit.

Thanks Lawndart, I replaced it with a standard O ring from Classic Tranny.
