yes it is, good eye! The trail is wheeler lake, which is North of Empire, CO. Of course, in thinking a little more, there are LOTS of structures like that near Idaho Springs...

Man, you are dedicated to the cause! When we get snow, everybody takes off and plays for the 2 days we get every 10 years.

Wow small world, I have relatives that recently lived off of little bear creek road just south of Idaho Springs. They had a huge beautiful log cabin at like 12,000' overlooking a valley to the south. I remember visiting in the winter and going up those switchbacks with 12' snowbanks on the sides.
