This is one of those things where I always like old iron if you can find it; overbuilt, extra material, re-buildable; Hein Werner, Weaver, Walker, Blackhawk if you could find one, all come to mind. Craig's List and Facebook marketplace are where I would start, also Mercari might yield a find or two.

I'm guessing the super duty jack is tall enough to lift a bronco? Lifting from axles and not frame I assume?

Hi, I have had a Sunex 12 to bottle jack for many years. It will lift my loaded car trailer, no problem. And I have a couple of 4x4 blocks to set it on which double as wheel chocks. Good luck

There are 2 different ones. The 450/550 is a single stage and taller. The 250/350 is shorter but 2 stage. The single stage is more available than the 2 stage just due to the number of conversions like ambulances that are selling them. I’ve used both on my bronco with 37’s.

I use the Strongway jacks from Northern Tool, I have about 10 of them including air over hydraulic.
Some are over 10 years old and used a bunch.

I finally found one of those a few months ago at the junkyard. Messed around with it a bit and decided it probably didn't go high enough for my needs. Gave it to a Rover friend in Tucson.

I'm a fan of the mechanical bottle jacks because they will operate in any position.

For lifting an axle I'm using below, but this truck still carries it's original mechanical jack as well:

I gotta get that bumper coated.......
