Lost my Ammstaff, "Gabby" this morning to a very aggressive type of Cancer. She was 11, but should of had a few more years. This pic is in Death Valley, she's done all the tough trails in Big Bear as well, numerous times. For some reason, my wife and I called her Garberz early on, hence my username. Yeah, I'm gonna miss her.

Ah, man, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. A friend of mine recently lost his German Shepherd, and I lost an Akita/Border Collie mix a couple years ago. Definitely remember the good times!

I always look back to those good days and just laugh and remember those good times. Just remember the good times.

Last year I lost both of my Labs within two months of each other. They were each about 15 so I knew it was coming. For years they had been to old to hit the trail. I really did cry over losing my "doggers" (ya'know like daughters). I was bummed for quite awhile. Then my wife brought home my little buddy Bebo, he's a Boxer and I love him, I call him my son. A few months later she brought home another Boxer (she has always loved Boxers). This one is a girl we have named Bailey. We haven't taken them on a trail ride yet. Their pictures are in my CB garage.

Long story short.....I could not get over the loss of my Doggers until my wife brought home my little buddy Bebo. Get a puppy Garberz, I promise it will help.....atleast a little.

It's hard to loose a pet, sorry of this loss. scooby my yellow lab chased a deer out of the yard last year and was hit by a car, and the car never stopped. this spring i got a new puppy and its all good again. spitting image of scooby. take care and find a new trailmate that will be there with you as Gabby did.
