I feel this same way! I stopped racing SCORE so every time the B1K rolled around and I wasn't there, I went into a depression! I'm so happy to be going back! I just love it!

Attended the first three Mexican 1000's, participated in two....and I just love it too!!

Hey Guys, as far as crew, it's been a little different each year, but all times we've had folks coming along for the ride out of sheer desire to come and help, and not necessarily having a 'job' on the crew. Sometimes wanting to bring their own rig even when not needed and satellite out for us or per their own interests. However, always ready to do whatever we've needed and been close-by. So I guess what I'm saying is, "the more the merrier" has been true for us. We are somewhat low-budget so it's all volunteer at this point, but I like to have 4 vehicles including the racer and 2 at least per car. It changes every year tho. This year and last year we'll have a crew cab with trailer, Expedition, Toyota 4x4, Racer.

Nice I really like the last picture.

I'll have that one down for the 500 this year! We are going through every inch of it right now to make sure it's good to go!

Love these pics! Can't wait to participate in this event..everything looks so much more civilized than the SCORE B1k.. even contingency was a beat down for that race! ;)

So exciting. Here are more pics from our times there. I just got my wheels in and ordered new tires. A few other tweaks and we are ready.

2 q's - It looks like the yellow/white #61 is just running with a soft top. Isn't a metal top required? Maybe he has one under.
Is everyone using parkers? We want to go retro, open-faced.

Yes, rules state a metal top covering is required. We had to do that to Torch. No Parkers I've seen. We run old school down to the shocks, but not everyone does. Open face helmet here.

No worries, it's cool to see others getting stoked on NORRA. It's so much fun.

We have Parkers. I thought seriously about going open face, but that dust down there clogs me up pretty fast -- and I wasn't sure how good the comms would be with the open face. Plus the truck already had the Parkers and we all have full face setups from our B1K efforts -- and I'm already spending money like a drunk private on my first liberty! But those open face helmets have a serious cool factor about them, and I'm sure that I'm gonna want one once I see you guys wearing them! ;)

Hey, drunk pirates are definitely allowed! I have always used our race team's helmet. I don't have one for the Bronco and I have found some open-faced with the M2005 and SA2005 rating pretty cheap. We talked about comm with the noise level and I think we're ok with it. I know how the silt can be, but I still I plan on wearing a dust sock and carry an inhaler %). I have a bunch from my open dual-sport car I used to have.

Sending in entry fee this week. How are we given vehicle numbers? Do they give you a list of what's available?
