I replaced both the yoke on the front of the NP205 and on the Dana 30 to be 1310. I'm waiting for the rain to stop so I can go to a yard and get an Explorer front dirveshaft. Are Rangers a possible targets also?
My NP205 rear yoke appears to fit my cardone joint on the driveshaft. The u-joint fits between the tangs and caps fit tight no gaps. Does it make sense that the rear of a NP205 would be cardon style but the front would not be? I don't want to buy a new yoke for the rear of the NP205 if I do not need one.
I scored a front driveshaft from a 94 V6 Explorer today ($20!). I have not tried to install it but it looks like 1310. I'll let you know how it works out.
Double cardon on t-case, single u-joint on front diff.
