I hope the weather cools off some. Weather forecast says 89* - sure beats the misery it's been recently. Ugh.

you guys - PLEASE take lots of water....and a towel dipped in an ice chest
can really help with keeping your body temps down...
we don't want anyone getting heat exhaustion/stroke etc!!!!!!!!

Since July 1 I have driven from Ft Worth across Louisiana, Mississipi, Alabama, corner of Georgia, across Tennessee, across Virginia, up through Maryland, northern tip of Delaware, back west across Pennsylvania to Williamsport and the only/last early bronco I have seen was in my garage in MS.

a room report please.....to see if they really have cleaned up their act.%)
We do have some time if they haven't - but I need to know - honest opinion!

Yep, I'm pretty bummed and had really been looking forward to this weekend. But the on call list got changed and I am on call from now until next Tuesday and there was no way to get out of it.

Alan, I'm sorry you won't be making the pre-run.....and if anyone understands about 'life or work' getting in the way of wheelin' it's us.
Maybe you'll get another chance before OCBR - if not, hopefully OCBR will make up for some of what you missed!

Again, I as well as the rest of us here in Oklahoma - REALLY APPRECIATE the ABBC doing the OCBR pre-run. We'd love to be able to say that we're joining you guys after all - but even tho Floyd is doing really good for everything that he went through - he's still not up to the trip and no wheelin yet!
We don't want to take any chances; and the progress and wonderful benefits that have come from all the bad stuff just reinforce that we need to continue to pay attention to the dr.!
Ya'll have a wonderful time....BE SAFE, DRINK LOTS OF WATER, oh...and
if ya can't see ...stop and get out and look....we don't want anyone duplicating Stephen's roll from last year!

After taking perfect care of the our weather?:? 61-62 for lows at night and 88-92 for highs with sun during the day both days !! That's it, the cookies are on hold....until the next time we go together astark .....

I sure will be thinking about you guys, and sending my thoughts and prayers for a safe and fun wheeling adventure for all, and its nice to know I will be missed.

As much as I will miss the wheeling, I will miss the company even more, and look forward to when we can all get together again.

Well....I do love cookies, that's for sure, and there's nothing like one of Rick's wife's cookies out on the trail, which is something else I will be missing this weekend
