Our room is for Fri. evening also...didn't want to get up & make the drive
so we'll be in Fri - probably around 6ish...provided we don't find a Bronco from Calif. on the side of the road with a flat...;D....no offense, just couldn't resist SoCalBronc.

What are the rates for friday night. They told me 79ish. Just making sure that's the going rate.

I don't remember the exact rate - have it written somehwere but I think
the guy I talked to said that he'd do the same rate that was online -
that's at the Red Roof and most hotels charge a little more for Fri. & Sat. nights. I'll try to find that. That's just for 2 adults.
and it is 'In season rates'

Hopefully Knights Inn & Red Roof will both go down for OCBR - as Mid-Sept is close to 'Out of season rates' and sometimes
is considered 'Out of season'. Or they're more ready to discount to get the business.
I have to try the owner at Knights Inn again - girl told me that only he can approve any discounts for Sept. rooms.

Bubba:
The manager told me he would give yall a 10% discount for the weekend of the 23rd and he wrote the rate down but I can't lay my hands on it right now, but it was in the 60's not 70's. I want to say 69 maybe....Valerie was there with me and she may have ended up with the paper with the rate written on it. I don't seem to have anything but his card and it is not written on it. But his name is Hemal Patel 501-624-3321. Good luck.;) Oh and make sure you get one of the remodeled rooms, which are the 100 & 200 series...the 300s have not been remodeled yet.

Well I finished up the wrap-trap this evening! Waited until after dinner to even go out and get started ....and that made a big difference in the temp.I also check my rear u-joint trunions for binding at full droop and they are no where near binding which means that on that trip to SMORR I was flexing the rearend big time to get them to bind...that is also called a Mike Mudd you know!!! Except my spring hangers have not moved. Lol I should not have that problem any more with the new addition.

Now just check the fluids and grease the front u-joints and I'm ready to load up.;)

Mine's up in the air right now and I head out to Albuquerque in the morning - due back Thursday night. I'm taking off 1/2 of Friday to get it back together and loaded on the trailer. :D Nothing like pushing it to the wire.

Your bringing the strap on to use on the Heeps? Good thing you greased it.
Sorry, I just couldn't help it.

Meet up with us at the park if you can. We're going to Rod's for dinner Friday night.
