I'm running a generic cheapo ebay aluminum one on two engines with multiple sender swaps without any leaking. Running either an ancient (just failed) Ford racing mechanical gauge or an Equus electric unit. The Equus stuff really has me impressed at the price point, I've power washed the tach and gauges for years without a single failure.

excellent
wish I had a similar experience
I didn’t

Ca650 stated right now he has the oil sensor plugged completely - problem solved. I'm 69 years old, been driving the spectrum of vehicles, driven hundreds of thousands of miles- never had my oil pressure gauge tell me You have no pressure, stop driving stupid. Maybe ten or fifteen years of driving left - good chance I could get by just plugging the sending unit off.
