I see that Dennis Carpenter is now reproducing the front portion of the Parchment Sport floormat. However they don't appear to be making the rear portion. Will they be making it? The front is pretty worthless without the rear. Anybody have any info?.... Mark in San Diego, Beach City Broncos.

I'll see if we have any further info and post it here if any news.
Good, or bad...
At this stage, probably no more of an update than anyone can get directly from them. But still worth a check-see, just in case we have an inside track.

Not shy about these new ones, price-wise! Making carpet look more appealing than ever.
Still, I have not gotten around to dying my black ones to be more like parchment, so guess I'll just have to get one of these instead. Ugh...

Took some pics of the sample DC had at SuperCel East last April. Of course, the finished product could be different from then. They did have both front and rear sections there.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on front parchment mat assuming rear to be available soon. Arrived last week and definitely will lay nice on Acapulco Blue with fresh parchment upholstery. Worth the extra dough. Couple pics

Mine showed up today. Beats no mat for sure! Not gonna match old original rear or anything but it’s nice to have. Rear section would be a smart addition DC!

Picking mine up Saturday at the swap meet.
Hopefully it’s a good color, or I’ll be back to dying my black one instead.

Your first picture of the close-up, makes it look fairly close to what I remember. The second picture really highlights the darker colors though, and makes it look almost gray.
My original rear that I got from a 72 Explorer in Durango Tan, is I believe, the tan version of the floor mat.

I saw it at SC East as well. I thought it looked great but it was very expensive, I think $900 for front / rear but I may be wrong!

I doubt it! The front is a bit over half of that (Parchment Front Mat) so totaling $900 is not out of line.
The black one is just about $100 less for the rear than the front. Albeit much less than parchment at "just" $349!
I haven’t seen pricing on the rear yet though. I’m sure after all the feedback for the past three or four years however, the manufacturer is certain that they are going to get a premium price for it.
Make their investment back, which is most business’ main goal anyway.

Front is in stock and on display for this weekends swap meet.
Can you get other colors?
It's hard to keep the black in stock. Other colors are unlikely. It's just my nature to ask what color did you want?

I find it comical that they didn't make a Parchment Front/Rear available at the same time and offensive that Black is $299 and Parchment is $499. But, I will still buy it!

There's a thread here that I did not keep a link to. I think it came up again just a month or two ago.
We were discussing using vinyl dye paint in a spray can, and finally someone got tired of waiting for the rest of us, and just up and did it themselves.
If I remember, it did not come out precisely like they had wanted, but most of us thought it came out super!
I bought three different colors of SEM vinyl dye to see if I could get it somewhat close to an original. Just don't have time to set up the mats in a relatively clean area and start spraying.
