This looks great. I’ve been wanting to do one myself. Here’s an original for reference. From the original ones I’ve seen they literally look like burlap. No black. It’s a combination of light and medium parchment which is why I think the reproducers can’t quite nail down the process of making the parchment reproduction. Solid colors like black or painting one any other color are doable. Doing the contrast is a whole different animal. Maybe doing light parchment first then come back with an airbrush with the other color and hit the valleys lightly with the darker color?? I don’t know.
