Yes, as shown by the G4 interior code. Are any of the original interior parts intact? Is your dash painted body color?
LUBr LuvR, I'm not sure who's rig that is. Maybe Okie knows. My 72 E/S is fairly unmolested, just an 80's Superlift and funky 70's rec room carpeting. I think it adds to the "patina" and I decided it's going to stay unless there is a ginger floor mat hidden beneath it.

It even still has a bunch of the paint inspection stamps

Okie would this have been a Ranger with the blue seats? I don't see the Ranger package anywhere listed.

It's another Marti goof I think, G4 is Avacado Ranger buckets and rear seat, but it mentions the tape delete also below. Can't imagine Avocado interior on a Bahama Blue bronco lol.

Apologies, obviously wasn’t following which rig went with which forum name.

But was worth getting to see pics of your Explorer/Sport, what a neat truck! 😁. Agreed, would not change a thing - and having all those paint stamps is awesome.

My 1972 Avocado code is I4 - wasn’t certain, but thought G4 might be the code for blue?

www.martiauto.com should get you there.
You can probably still get a basic report online and print it out yourself for minimal money. A SuperDEEELUX will cost ya, but it also takes at least three months to get the full thing with the framed sheet and all.
Depends on how fancy you want to be, but you should get most of it on the basic report.

I forgot to mention, I'm not actually sure if Marti Reports list the registration model year of the vehicle. At least it's not on the main page of the reports we're looking at here.
Or are some of them listing that data? Not sure it would even be pertinent or available for Marti with their paperwork.

What do all the Certification Labels on these '72's and '73's say? There is a line that says something about "meeting all the safety requirements for the year of manufacture" or something like that. Right? Or is it the "month" of manufacture? Sorry, I don't remember and can't get to my '71 right now.
But even that's probably only going to list the year of manufacture. Not the registered year.

Nothing in any law that I'm aware of says that a vehicle built from August through December of a certain year must be registered as the next year's vehicle. Changing year models in August is only a convenience factor in changing any factory assembly requirements needed for getting the new models to the dealers before the end-of-the-year sales start.
Nothing at all to do with any state or federal requirements that tell the manufacturers when to start building a new model year.
There were many fed/state changes for '73 model year though. Especially for Utility Vehicles. So maybe Ford just needed/wanted to delay some of them until they could meet the '73 specifications. Thereby avoiding any official problems that would have caused.
Heck, maybe they ran out of ambient switches, fuel return manifolds and sending units, and EGR valves!

Thanks! I don't have a lot of good pics, just from when I bought it. There are a couple more pictures a page or two back in this thread. I also have a thread over on Colorado Classic Broncos, but obviously it hasn't been updated. There are no updates to brag about, except accumulating parts and ideas. I will do power disk brakes (front), and power steering, new wire harness, and new WH lift parts to make it a reliable driver. I have a set of OG hub caps, but also a set of nice slots. I haven't decided which wheels yet, but I'm leaning towards slots. It'll stay uncut, unpainted, and carb'd. I've already done the "major modified" Bronco with my 74 that I've had since 1996. So this one will atone for my sins of cutting one up and Frankensteining it before they were worth a mint.

I didn't know what I was buying. I didn't really know anything about the 72 E/S let alone the unicorn paint color. It was less than a block from my house and I literally pushed it to my place in 2016. It hasn't run in probably 15 years now. The left rear axle shaft is pushed out about 1/2" and it was driven to the PO's home in front wheel drive and parked. I swear I'm going to get around to working on it once my blue 74 crawler is "done". Hopefully in the next couple months. I wanted to have the 72 E/S ready for the NV Super Cel, but sadly it will still be parked in my shop in October.

There are 3 reports to choose from.

Standard $20. I don't recommend it, not much info for the price.

Deluxe $55. This is what most everyone has been posting. It is the one with orange and blue boxes.
It has the dealer info and stats on when it was produced and sold.

Elite $300. It includes the Deluxe report along with window sticker and stats on your Bronco.

For whatever reason, I took two pics to get the whole report. Maybe it was because I couldn’t read it that small. Lol

I see it notes yours came with a right hand passenger seat... That seems sort of obvious, wouldn't every Bronco come with one of those?

I know it seems a bit crazy, but I think that on the base model Bronco that only the driver's seat was 'standard equipment'....

In the early years, there was even a trim/seat codes for driver's seat only which was 6. 1 bench, 6 driver's seat only, 7 bucket seats, 9 buckets and rear seat. I think I've got two driver seat only 66 u13's on my list, so 696 was their trim code. 6 for the seat and 96 was for roadster.

I think when they stopped offering a half cab option that they put both front seats. Maybe there was an option as to whether you got a rear seat or not; I’m not sure. If you notice the color of the EB in my avatar, it’s pretty obvious that this ain’t ‘light jade’ as the specs call it. Not a big fan of original OR one of the POs selection of colors but undecided about what color it’s gonna end up.

I love that bright emerald '77 LUBrLuvR! That's one of the fewest options that I've seen on a Marti! Only 4!! ...and one of those were tires, and you gotta have tires!!!

Thanks Dennis! And someone I know has a pretty cool 78/79 with that very same color and Wimbledon White😉. Some folks love it and others, not so much, lol.

Yep, thought is was rather sparse on options. Then I saw a Marti report that listed two! Should’ve taken a screen shot. Think the Base models should have categories; like Plain Jane, Slim Pickens and Bare Bones!

Learning more and more about the Broncos every day. Didn’t know about the passenger seat still an option in 77. Also didn’t know that the padded dash was an option. And all this time I thought that a PO removed it in my rig.
