I have a stock 75 power steering unit in my '69. While out driving all of my fluid just leaked out at the pitman arm. I am about to replace the sector shaft seals and notice there is not much room to pop them out. Is there an easy way to remove the seals and washers?

Sometimes you can just remove the pitman arm and retaining ring the start the engine and use steering pressure to blow the seals out. Doesn't always work though. Worth a try.

+1 on that! Make sure you have the snap ring seated the WHOLE way when you install your new seals or you'll be doing it again before you back out on the street!
