I need the spiral gear that goes on the output shaft. I cannot find the one from disassembly, maybe it wasn't in there. Anyone know where to buy one? I dont see them on any of the vendor sites. Is the Jeep version for a D20 the same?

Call Tom's Bronco Parts. Even thought heir catalog is pretty complete, they have a lot of other stock, and the advice to go with it.

I believe the jeep ones are reverse cut. It must have been in there or you couldn't preload the rear bearings.

Good point, thanks Viperwolf. I never drove the truck before dismantling it completely for a full rebuild.

The one piece steel ones are better. The plastic ones can slip off center.
