on most GM’s cut the oil sender and the engine dies like it’s upside down and doesn’t have oil pressure. On everything else disarming the fuel pump relay makes more sense.

I think it only sends SMS, so you will need a SMS sim and it's only supposed to respond to you if you SMS it.
