There's just something about a LUBR....

I love 'em!

Ran across this while looking for pictures of Broncos w/ white wagon wheels. I think it's my new favorite.... Anybody know anything about it? The site I found it on said it was taken at Cars and Coffee in Irvine.

I don't get it. I have never been a big fan of the original uncut look. Just looks too "old-man" or something for me. But, I understand that some people want to keep it looking original, but still want a lifted rig. Just no cutting. But this rig has been cut tremendously. If you are going to bust out the sawzall anyway, why not just make the rig more functional and cut the wheel wells??? To each their own.

The LUBERS grew on me. At first I didn't like them but as I learned more about Broncos they really started to appeal to me. Kinda like loose women.

Look like the 33" x 10.5's to me also but with a lot of lift, I'm running mine with 3.5" of total lift. It took a lot of work to fit them but I like to keep my rigs low. I need to join up again but there's a few pic's of mine from Moab 09' in my gallery. I've owned quite a few cut Bronco's over the years and just wanted to try a outside the box build up.

But technically, that isn't a LUBR. "Lifted UNCUT BRonco". Can't call that one uncut by any stretch. ;D

Wondered about the "hood ornament" too. Looks like a Lamborghini deck lid opened from the wrong direction? Thought they opened to the rear, but it sure looks Italian.

haha i guess we all could sit here and debate this all day! ;D i suppose i classified it as a LUBR since, for the most part the wheel well openings have not been hacked away from the top and retain their original design/look.
