Life is too short to do business with people you don't like or respect. This story reminds me of a certain company which assembled hydroboost set-ups. Their market is rich guys with custom show cars, not us tightwad loosers with all of the used parts on our "rigs". They make a great clockable adapter, but won't sell it without buying a $750-800 "system". All I want is the machined bracket to hook up my junkyard Astrobooster, and Napa MC, etc. So I can't tell you how happy I was to see that Chuck is marketing a bracket. Moral to the story, do business with peole you like.
