Got my u-joint repaired on the driveshaft and ordered some parts. Hope to get some of my list checked off this weekend.

Have your wives practice saying "To da right, to da right!" in a German accent!

(Google "youtube german lady on black bear pass")

I just watched this and laughed the whole way through! I will say, my wide Bronco would make that even worse than their narrow Jeep.

its not that bad, in the 70's it was much worse and the direction was up not down, had to back up the switch back's, there wasn't enough room to make the turn in a CJ:eek:. I've driven it in a full bodied K5 that was 4" wider than your bronco, you'd have it made. If it is not covered in snow we could run over and do that one day while we're out that way, its only a few hours drive.;D

DirtDonk's post got me to thinking - are any of the vendors going to be there?

Hey stout. I'm not sure yet if we'll be going, but it's possible. We love the event, and were there last year in fact (hence all the cool pictures of members here!) but often we schedule things ever other year because it's just too hard to make every event, every year.
But Jim sure tries!

So no answer for WH yet, but I believe there are usually several there and the others can confirm better.

Have fun!

Trying to get things ready for this adventure. Got more road friendly 35" BFG MTs swapped on. Fixed a non functioning brake drum. Installed a hand throttle. Replaced one driveshaft u-joint. Oil changed. I still have a long "to-do" list plus need to give my trailer and tow rig some attention.

Got my lower track bar welded up and now working on tightening the steering linkage.
Does anyone know what size bolt is used on the upper track bar? I need to replace mine and it is badly worn.

You guys are way ahead of me on prep. New motor's in, Garry Vance is doing his magic with the tune. I have a long list of things to do still, I don't think I'm going to get to many of the cosmetic ones. See you in Moab!

I think I have my steering linkage fixed (still have not drove it). Still have a "to-do" list but it is getting shorter.

I'll start the hate. Drove mine 150 miles weekend before last. All the liquids are staying on the inside, its staying cool and drives straight, think we're ready:p
