Hello, I built this transfer seat for my bronco and its been a great addition to the vehicle but I'm planning on building something different. This is a fully automated seat powered by 2 sets of actuators. Up/Down is a 1000 lb actuator w/ 12" of lift and in/out 6" 1000 lb actuator. Runs off 12v battery and will include the remote control w/ cpu to run the system with out the need of switches. System clamps on to 2" roll bar. actual seat not included. Unit has no issue loading me up and I'm 200lbs so Im assuming you could safely go up to 250/300 lbs possibly. This would be great for anyone having issues getting in and out of their truck.

small but important disclaimer: unit was built to fit my truck but should work in other vehicles, some slight fabrication may be needed for proper fitment and use. I had a non power corbeau seat in it originally then modified it and mounted a BMW E3 seat. PM me w/ any questions. Can ship via fastenal

So I'm just trying to think outside the box on this. I don't think this is something I could use, but how difficult would it be to switch it to go on the passenger side? I could see this being used to perhaps take combat-disabled veterans off-roading for PTSD therapy or something like that... It might be too difficult, but thought I would ask.

I’ll look into it and let you know, might have to cut the up down part off then flip the arm that swings out and re weld it

Don't start modifying stuff on my account, I was just curious how hard it would be, and thought that might be another way to market it. I'm gonna PM you....

Oh I wasn’t planning on cutting into it, the way it’s built I don’t think I can convert it to a passenger side unless I built a whole new unit! Lol 😂
