Tickets won't go on sale untill Jan. 2011. The drawing will be held in Denver in December 2011. That should give you some time to start saving up to buy lots of tickets!! Tickets will be $3 each or 10 tickets for $25.

For a chance to win a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, this years raffle vehicle, you can visit hightrails.org or I have tickets for it also. You can email/pm me for more details.

Did I miss anything?

I have one question. This body is a 73 and we have an extra 66 body. If we pull this body off and send it to our body man to prep it for paint can we throw the 66 body on this frame to take around and have things fitted to it then move them to the 73 at a later time. Were there any changes in the tubs or dashes from 66 to 73 that would cause this not to work? It would be the cage and the dash.

The great thing about this raffle that we have not been able to do before is open it up to online sales. In the past Colorado did not allow a game of chace to be played with credit. So that mean we could not accept credit cards/debit carts or even paypal. The laws have now changed though and we can open up raffle ticket sales on hightrails.org through paypal. Before you would have to send in a check or money order to the Associations address and get your tickets that way, what a PITA. This should help our cause greatly and afford more people the opportunity to get a ticket or two.

if you were to do propane I think dual fuel would be cool so you could still use it as a DD but in hardcore crawl situations switch it to propane. I also think you should do the lowest center of gravity possible with some 37-40" tires since that is the way crawlers are going now a days. with the system you should see if they could tuck a sub up underneath the dash and make the whole system hidden, that would be very cool and practical. you should see if u could get one of the old mustang styled decks that has ipod and sat. radio hookups, that would give it more of a stock feel

We have EFI now!!
An EFI setup has been donated by a member of colorado4x4.org. It's off of a 95 mustang, and Battlement Fabrication is going to set everything up for us. I just have to find a ECU to go along with it. I have found a few A9L's on craigs list, now I'm just waiting for them to respond.

We got a lot of work done on the Bronco the last few days.

Made some bracing for the body.
Body Off
Motor In
Tranny In
Transfercases In

Everything out
Power Washed Frame
Everything In
2" Body Lift
Body On

Sounds easy, right? Sure it was.....

Here are a few pictures.

Back Together

We have a little more to do tomorrow before we take it up to Nemesis on monday. We need to cut a larger hole in the floor for the tripple sticks and get some longer bolts for the body lift.

We installed the starter from BC Broncos, new body mounts from Daystar, body lift from M.O.R.E., used our Stage 8 locking header bolts, used lots of new bolts from Fastenal and made our bracing from the steel donated by Penrose Steel.

I'm ready to go back to my real job now so I can relax a little.
