Installed a a hoist in the garage to pull off and store the hard top. Put on the new bikini top and went for spin. Lady in a Ford Edge clipped me on the left rear quarter panel and ripped my bumper off. Not much damage on my part but her right front quarter panel and grill took a beating. Also chasing an electrical problem with my radio. To be continued...

C4 kick down cable. Note to self, don't drop the little cotter key, hear the ting as it hits the floor and then into the vortex of the garage never to be seen again. Slows down the progress a bit.

it can be a pita for sure

Great idea, that helps tremendously to store it up and out of the way

  • Did some more cutting for the floor pans and the kick panels.
  • Ground down everything for the tranny tunnel and got it into place, then used some thick self-tapping screws to hold it in for welding.
  • Welded up the floor brace under the seats (where I cut partway through it %) )
  • Got part of the Upper Seat Platform ready to weld (waiting on some replies to a new thread I posted)
  • Got the rear passenger floor pan in place for fitment
  • Ordered a halotron fire extinguisher. So I have 1 of those and 2 powder versions
  • Ordered Jeep wrangler adjustable roll bar seat belt mounts (my wife is 5'0")

My son worked with me today to swap rear springs in the 69 flathead project. Old skyjackers gone and Deavers in. Front coils tomorrow...stiff K-Bar s springs out and new WH coils in. Progress....

New shoes

PS the PO installed the rear flares. Once the 67 is on the road this one goes under the knife.
