Bax for the replacement Detroit....Artemis for the ring and pinion....and MOST importantly Migs for his outstanding attention to detail in appearance and assembly! Thought I was getting close to being done but once the transmission was in and filled it didn't want to shift into 3rd. :( Should have probably had it rebuilt before installing. The only thing not connected is the kickdown cable. Transfer case seems to work in high and low, will probably go the twin stick route. Seems to be cheaper than buying a new single lever since I have misplaced mine. While out test driving the steering rod or track bar got caught on the front axle and I was stuck turning right until I muscled it over. Bushings are shot so more work on top of pulling the tranny again. At this point I almost rather trailer it to a shop and have someone else take it out but my wallet will say otherwise.

Finally finished floor pan replacement and inner fender rust repair.

And if anyone can tell me how to get the picture straight, I would appreciate it. Just started posting this way. Thanks,

I rebuilt my Dana 44; put in an ARB locker and disc brakes. I also did the Ford 9" with the ARB locker and the Tom's Bronco Parts rear disc conversion. Can't wait to put them under the truck!

Technically "I" didn't do it, but it is my Bronco, and we did a bit more paint stripping today on the exterior

Got the transmission reinstalled after troubleshooting a noise between my tcase and transmission. Turned out to be a bolt from my tcase adapter protruding into the NP435 case and touching the reverse gear which sets right next to the bolt hole. Had my bride helping...took a few cuss words to get the tranny properly aligned but that’s how it usually goes. :)
