Doc said I crushed all the cartilage in three of my fingers and got lucky I didn't rip off that pinky nail.

Great day at work.

I pulled the passenger side head . . . about a month a ago I pulled the valve cover after it sat for a 6 months to find a broken exhaust valve on the number 2 cylinder. Good news, no obvious piston/block damage, bad news I had really bad oil pressure even with a brand new pump. I could get it running cheap with a new valve, spring, pushrod . . . but I spent the afternoon shopping for crate motors.

A new motor isn't exactly in the budget, shipping to Hawaii will suck, but I have to keep the Bronco running, its been too long already and I could be moving back to the mainland as soon as July. Shipping gets really expensive when the vehiclwe doesn't run . . . so really I am saving money right?

Anyone have experience with ATK or BluePrint 408Ws?

ATK 351 W. Grandmother and uncles put 280,000+ miles on that engine through two different vehicles. Never knocked, smoked or rattled. That engine sold me on the Windsor. I built one for my 73 EB because of it and I started with an ATK short block.

Drove it to work and to do some shopping today. Gave me some fits going around a long sweeping curve on the freeway, hoping it was just low on gas and running away from the pickup in the tank. I was kinda low on gas, and it was acting like it was running out.

I open the box of parts from Summit for my EFI conversion. Now, I need to actually work on installing the collection of parts.

The FROZEN TURDRA
Finally installed new brake lines up front and a new proportioning valve and used The motive power bleeder. The Good: no more leaks, the always bad: after 2 gravity bleeds and 2 power bleeds i dont like the brake pedal feel. Gonna have to drive it a little and hit the brakes hard before another round of bleeding
