Changed gearing from 4.56 to 3.91 in case I have a need for speed at the NORRA race with no O/D

Got the rear axle located (about 2" back) and fuel tank in.

Started fixing the PO's "decisions" and making "decisions" that the next PO can scratch his head at.

Spring sprung in NW Oregon today and the soft top came down.

Got the gas tank back in with a new strap. Filler neck installed with new hoses.
Receiver hitch and bumper bolted back on. Rear shocks back on. Making progress!

Powerless steering today.It's like a new truck.My wife finally drove it after about 10 years,and didn't complain,she's just not used to the gas pedal yet.

Got her to take her top off then to Cars and Coffee!

Also had a guys only day with my boy... Cruised the '75 for pizza ice cream and then driving lessons!! I know which part he liked most...
