Northern Tool carries it - it can be used for wrapping bulky items on a pallet before shipping, or for protecting carpet from workers' boots during remodelling.

But I don't think it'll be particularly suited to windows; I expect it to be pretty foggy.

I don't think that is it. The person I was talking to said they put it over paint and you couldn't tell it was even there except for the edges. I'll have to ask again.

I think what your talking about is a kind of tape made by 3M, it's used with camper shells to put in wear areas like where the top boot rubs on the back of the cab. I'm not sure it would work over soft top windows? I'd go ask a truck accessory dealer about it.

New project

Ripped out the interior.
Removed the full top.
Installed 1/2 cab.
Might have to make me a Luber?

Worked on installing Cadillac rear calipers yesterday. Got them almost all the way hooked up. I need some gas for the welder to finish.

Swapped the passenger side front axle today. Also swapped the rotor. Still need to do the other side but I've got to get ready to go to the movies with the wife.

cut away the rusted portion of the inner wall on the drivers side... I noticed that the inner has a few wrinkles it looks like the truck may have been in an accident. Also noticed some rust starting where it is fastened to the core support. I may end up removing the entire wall and replace it. Should'nt be too much extra work. The truck is clean enough so it is worth the extra effort.

I did nothing to, or with, either of them. The mean one is running so good I don't want to drive it.

Stared at radiator wondering how I am going to get it to move forward. Looks like it involves more work than I was hoping for. Welder is at work. I need a unit in my garage.

Patched a hole in my hood, filler in three spots, two on the grill and slapped some more on the ds rear under the tail light. Thought I was done under the tail light and I know your not supposed to put filler over 2K primer but it wasn't 100%. Took the chance.
