Completed the conversion of worm drives on the 4x4x2 box for the 67. May send the box to West Texas Offroad for a rebuild. Welded the reinforcement plate to the frame and painted everything. Disassembled the manual steering bell and need to decide whether to rebuild it and use it (cheap route) or buy two u joints. I have a lower shaft from a 78 Bronco, but cant see ow to use it with this manual shaft.

I have not done very much hunting lately but the kids are getting old enough to take them with me. I may not get to see much but we have a good time.

That is the best thing for sure. That quality time.

got my engine problem resolved yesterday

viperwolf1 and 777mechanic found a loose / dislodged wire on the connector for the #5 fuel injector which was the root cause of the "dead cylinder" feeling I was experiencing

THANKS MUCH GUYS !

Getting ready for OCBR. Beefed up the weld on the factory drop track bar bracket, changed oil, checked driveshaft bolts, greased u-joints, Made some adjustments to the hydro-assit steering, checked toolbag and spare parts.
Then the wife and I took a ride in the uncut 75 just because the weather is soooo nice!
Put about 75 - 100 miles on the Bronco!

Pondered some more on paint schemes. And what to do about removing some, not all chrome from my new used wheels. I'm going to paint or powder coat the ribs black.

I think they will look decent black and chrome. They are 18's.

Bling bling. Lol

Drove it around, enjoying the cooler weather. Now I got to wash those stinkin love bugs off, thought they were gone for the year!

Installed the hard top yesterday. What a pain in the butt that was. I think a soft top is on my list now.

Not officially what I did today, but I reinstalled my rebuilt third member in the 9" on Saturday. This is the second time in the past 30 days. Had the pinion bearing go out in the first rebuilt and it warped the pinion shaft. UGGGG!!!

replaced my fan and water pump pulley. Got a 7 blade Flex-a-lite and a 5 3/8" pulley from a 65 Mustang. Should help the cooling at low speed/rpm. I'll let you know if it helps.;)

Moved it forward 3' so I could get the scooter in the driveway, Took the hitch out and put the big hook back on. Covered it because it started raining.

Agree, soft top is a lot less work, personally I think look better too. I'm hopping the half hard top I bought this summer will not be so bad. That looks nice though Jaromy; you've come a long ways with your Bronc in just a few months.

Heres the pic's from late weekends window tinting. I used Black Magic 20%, which you can find at most retail and auto parts stores. I picked up mine at Walmart. Pretty easy to install on our flat glass Broncos.;D

I pulled the carb, distributor and intake manifold off. The engine was rebuilt before I bought it. The distributor leaked as did the rear of the intake. I also went to the DMV to register it but the line was out the door.
