Drove the Bronco down to the new house loaded with crap and smelled boiling antifreeze all the way down. I wasn't over heating unless my gauge is broke, I was at 180. Either I have a leak that is dripping on the headers or some other place that gets warm or I am burning it. The Bronco sat for a month or so. I think it is just burning off of something because when I got to the first stop light, steam billowed out of the hood and fender well%)

Put air in the tires and drove her to work. Looks lonely in the parking garage.

I will get more pics this weekend, it is a 73, originally a California vehicle, a lady bought it three years ago here in Houston and drove it sparingly. I bought it it off Ebay after a few margaritas one Friday evening. I don't don't know sh_t about cars, but I knew I always wanted an EB, so I pulled the trigger.

I have only had it a couple weeks, so I am working through the EB terminology to determine exactly what I bought and what the next project is. Contemplating putting it on a trailer and hauling it to Chuck at BC and having him go through it. Needs new wiring etc..

Did a tune up last night, drove it to Salem, I can actually pull 5th gear now up small hills! Not to bad for 3.50 gears, overdrive on 36-13 boggers

Finish rebuilding the 2150. It cranked right up without having to baby it. Now for some fine tuning.

The FROZEN TURDRA
Friend who is a diesel mechanic from the trucking co. where i work came over and we bled the brakes. After 4 gravity bleeds and 2 pressure bleeds by myself we did it the old way, "pump it up, open etc" . Finally have a Rock Hard pedal without messing with the new proportioning valve. drove it and running great.

After reading the posts of Raider's truck catching fire I replaced all fuel lines from both tanks all the way to the carb. Just rubber, but I now know when it was installed and can put my kid in this thing with just a little more piece of mind.

I had that same hose fail on me about 10,000 miles ago; just left home on an errand and smelled gas, pulled over and popped the hood with the engine still running. The front of the intake was dowsed with gas, a steady stream spewing forth. Luckily caught it early, but pretty scary nonetheless.

Went over to Dan's to continue tub prep for the Raptor liner next week. While there he gave me his used Duffs 70/30 front shocks, they still have a lot of life left in them but he upgraded last month to a dual shock setup and more. Thanks Dan!
