Got the new painless harness finished but didn't have time to test it. I was hoping to get it done today so the boy and I could play in the snow but my wife had other plans. She should be back on the road tomorrow, hopefully there is still some snow to play in!

Finally got engine dressed up, painted engine bay and hydroboost done. I think it turned out pretty nice. Some before and after.

Wow ,looks like a different truck. Glad to see you did something with the scoop screws, that's where my eyes went first in the before pics.

Finally got around to installing the new visors and tach last night that the wife got me for Christmas.
Tach is mounted and I have the wires connected to the tach, but still need to do some wiring under the dash.
Also night before I fabricated some rock guards that I attached to the wheel wells to stop rocks from hitting the underside of the fender. Just used some angle flashing I had. Used SS screws and then coated under all the wheel well with rubberized undercoating. Will see how that does.

Finished wiring the 12V power socket, USB ports, heated seats, led dome light and led license plate light. The new painless harness made this really easy.

Will not crank

I was able to jump from the battery to the red post on the starter relay and get it to crank. I pulled out the ignition switch because it felt a little spongy. I then jumped between the yellow hot wire and the red wire on the back of the switch. I checked for voltage at the relay and I had voltage but it still wouldn't crank. So i jumped it again from the battery and the red wire on the relay and it cranked. Maybe i am loosing some voltage from the switch to the relay or the relay is getting weak. Any help would be appreciated. By the way it is an automatic and I believe the neutral saftey switch is working because I am getting voltage to the relay.

Sliced off the bottom of the tailgate in order to weld in a patch panel and diced up the drivers side quarter for a stock fuel door on our 66 mod.
