Ultimate Race Bronco Photo Thread

I have been thinking about this for a while. I think most of us here like to see racing Bronco photos, whether it is desert, tough truck, sand or whatever. There is some great threads on here with members rebuilding vintage race Broncos (Gud, ToddZ, Andrew from Baja Bronco), members currently racing Broncos (Chuck from BC Broncos, Coach from Texas) and members have posted photos of race broncos that they have come across over the years.

I would like to start a thread that is a great starting area for people wanting to look at race Bronco photos. By all means, I do not want to take away from Gud's awesome thread about the history of his Bronco or the other great threads on this board. Classic Broncos members have an outstanding amount of knowledge between them. I do not post here much, but I do check the site out as much as possible while I keep my eyes out for a new classic Bronco to buy. I have owned 6 over the years, but have only seen 5 in the 8 years that I have been in Ontario. It boggles my mind when I read some of the information on this site. I have been an early Bronco fanatic since I was a kid watching my dad race Broncos, but I learn something new everytime I come online here.

What I would like to see this thread become is two things. I would like it to point people to threads like Gud's vintage racer, Coach's race buildup. If you have a thread with photos of racing bronco's, feel free to post a link to it here. I would also like to see people post up one or two images of race broncos here as they come across them. Hopefully this thread will remain near the top so that new members (or even veteran members) will some older posts involving race Broncos. It is amazing how many threads get lost in the shuffle after a few days.

I will start by posting up some good CB thread links, along with some other links I have found on the internet. I will also post some photos that I have come across and have posted here, on my website and other forums. Many you have probably seen before, others you may not have. Please feel free to post up some that you have come across.

A great mix of rare and strange Bronco photos at http://classicbroncos.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=142737 including the Doug Nash drag race Bronco, some sand drag photos, and a pope mobile.

Here is some misc. photos that I have saved on my remote hard drive. Some may be from other threads here. If I stole some of your photos...sorry. I think the first few are from BajaBroncos thread on his vintage race vehicle. I think the Pike and Big Oly photos I stole from Fab Fords show thred on here as well.

I love the old vintage stuff.

Nice. Speaking of race broncos, a few years ago, I think ESPN had series with tough trucks running the stadium course. Most of the races were at night and very cold. There was a bronco painted like the american flag that dominated the races. Anybody remember? He was awesome!!

Brian Taylors Bronco at http://briantaylor.com/bronco.htm I am not sure if he has raced it or not...I was looking for images on Bing tonight and it came up.

This Bronco was for sale for a few years I think. I remember seeing it on a few forums as well as Craigs List. Rumour is that it finally sold, but I do not recall seeing it at any races. Last ad seen at http://broncograveyard.com/classifie...rd_Bronco.html

Charnick is still running they're Bronco. They come to our drags once or twice a year. The father built or bought another for just the obstacle course races down in Connecticut or Massachusetts.
