    Hi: The bolts are 1/4 inch uss coarse and are 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch long.

    Call some local tranny shops in your area and yes the slipping could be caused by not having the limit valve and spring but the shop that rebuilt it should know this, Joe.:(

    Harmonic Balancer Bolt

    IF you have room put a drift or punch on the bolt head and smack it a couple times, usually the shock will help free it.:mad:

    Hi Jim: As APOGEE and others have said you need to do a compression check or have a garage do it, it should not be more than about 50 bucks and try to find an old fart like me to do it, I'm trying to get the picture out of my mind of you in a dress, and not all mechanics are crooks. Joe.:cry:

    Hi: I worked for a ca. engine builder for 2 years, cheap Cast pistons cheap bearings, cheap reground cam, If you can't cut yourself on the valves their o.k., knurl the guides, cheap gaskets, sleeve the block, repair cracks in heads by pinning,shim valve springs don't replace them, on and on...
