    Finally saw the "unicorn" the 2-door/hard top...

    Dealers are selling 1st edition Broncos for $80+K (even the ones people ordered).... I’d pay the $75 for the V8 Jeep before I’d buy a 6 banger Bronco...... I really hope Ford steps up to the plate and gives us what we want and are willing to pay for......I really like the look of the new...

    170 rear main seal

    You can do it...you need to jack the motor up (remove motor mounts and then rest motor on some blocks of wood) to pull the oil pan off (oil pan cannot be removed with out motor being jacked up).....I installed a 2 piece neoprene seal and dabbed some gasket maker #4 on the ends and let it set...

    They are very “selective” on what they will and wont restore these days......they want lots of pics and will quote based on that (if they are in rough shape then I would forget about it)......or they may not want to touch them at all anymore??? They do great work and are the best out there.....

    1966 Bronco Leaf Spring ID

    May have a different spring configuration for the roadster not having a hard top on it (is a lighter truck due to that)....just a thought.....

    I think part of the problem is Ford would come after whoever is making them since the rears have “Ford” stamped in them. It may be a licensing nightmare and not worth it for the small amount that would sell over a long period of time. Just my input on it......I’m sure some others may have some...
