    CO Rear 28 Spline Axles

Hey 78Scronco. It would be $20 to ship. Thanks, Lindsay

    CO Rear 28 Spline Axles

I have a set of 28 spline big bearing, big brake axles that I just removed to make way for the 31's and a locker. They look in good shape and the bearings feel pretty good. I personally wouldn't put them into a rig without replacing the bearings but they would make great trail spares. If you...

    audio suggestions

I'm not sure what look you're after, but kicker wakeboard speakers are extremely easy to install and you can remove them at any time. They also pump out a lot of volume. There is also no issue having the hardtop on.

New Bronco owner looking for direction

I'd highly recommend power steering and while you're there add hydroboost and disc brakes. If you're going to go the hydroboost route you may as well only buy the right hoses and pump once. Sounds like a really nice canvas to start with. If you're going to put the mid 90's 351w and keep the EFI...

Any advise on the oil in the bottom of the distributor?

    Thunderbird 5.0 Timing

Sounds like someone has put a non HO engine in the thunderbird at some stage. Thanks

    Thunderbird 5.0 Timing

I did make sure the 1 etched into the cap matched up to plug one. I thought it was a roller. It definitely looks like it is the original engine for all the accessories. Everything was on there, EGR, Smog pump connected up to the back of the heads etc. All the harness was routed with the...

    Thunderbird 5.0 Timing

Sure is looking that way. Is there anyway for me to tell by looking at the block/heads?

    Thunderbird 5.0 Timing

So I just finished my EFI conversion out of a 93 thunderbird. I got the engine, harness and computer for $150, good way to go if you want to save some money and if you're ok with not getting all the mustang gear. Anyway I was trying to iron out the bugs on the weekend and I was at wits end...

yeah or neah on another efi build thread

What would be the best way to get that vacuum canister to open via vacuum. Is there a cheap solenoid out there that would apply vacuum when required?

    Explorer Parts

I am in the middle of doing a EFI swap with a thunderbird doner. I have a friend who has a towing business and has 2 4.0l explorers in his yard that are about to get hauled away any day. My question is there anything I should be taking off these for my swap? Spares or if I have bad parts, ect...

    Steering Column and Hydroboost

So just to update. I went ahead and chopped the shaft closer to the firewall and reinstalled the bearing retainer as well as the retainer for the transmission shifter as well. It looks much better that with the linkages hanging out and has given me the clearance I need for the hydro lines. It...

    Steering Column and Hydroboost

So after looking at it yesterday afternoon it appears if I rotate it 90 and put an adapter plate I will have the same problem with the other hydraulic line. You seem to have more room between your booster and shaft flousberg. It is a manual so putting in the clutch location is out of the...

    Steering Column and Hydroboost

I've decided to pull on an extreme makeover starting with an EFI conversion and it has spilled over into brakes and steering. Anyway my Hboost seems to just miss the intake when inverted, however one of the hydraulic lines is going get in the way of the steering column. In the whole process of...

93 94 Tbird engine and tranny swap

Thanks Rollin, those pics are a big help! Do you know what the new serpentine belt was supposed to be off and what length it is?

93 94 Tbird engine and tranny swap

I too have recently acquired a T-bird engine and am collecting all the parts for the install. How did you made the tensioner work when you got rid of the smog pump? I would also be interested in knowing why you had to get rid of the A/C compressor. Thanks

    Flywheel Query

I came across a screaming deal on a 93 Thunderbird engine/harness/computer on the weekend and purchased immediately . I am only now having a close look at it. I was looking at the flywheel and did a tooth count assuming it would have 157 teeth. However to my surprise it has 164 teeth. Has anyone...
