    Power steering fluid???

Yes... Should have mentioned it failed at the hose not the fitting. Crack/hole under the braided line. Fittings are strong, hoses are junk for high pressure application IMHO. Have worked fine for low pressure applications. The issue could have been dirt/dust between the braided and hose but...

    Power steering fluid???

Don't use the build it yourself braided Russell lines, mine burst, loss of steering made me hit a rock and it killed my 4x4x2 box. 8 hours and a $420 recovery tow later I was back at camp (broken and 150 miles from home). That crappy line cost me over $1200. But yes you can fix them on the...

Exploded a braided line PS hose and want to replace it with the best hose out there. What should I use? I am running hydroboost. Is it true the only high pressure line is going to be between the pump and the box? Thanks, Kirk

    Help with my 351W Build

New heads are not an option and these seem to be about right where I want them. Don't think I will need the thicker gasket. Just need to confirm the relief volume, deck height and chamber volume. From what I have ready they are 64-65 cc.

    Help with my 351W Build

Ok, thought it may have been a typo. I see on summit you can get gaskets 4.01, 4.03, 4.1 etc. I have always bought the same size gasket as the bore. Maybe it does not matter, I'm new to motor building. What compression would you run on a mild build with iron heads and pump gas... think CA is...
