    What kind of driving do you do? Street only or offroad? Does your radiator have a trans cooler in it and is it hooked up? Might be a good idea to get a temp gage with sender in the pan to check temp. I do lots of high rpm sand duning and trans temps definitely monitored.

They sent me new metering blocks to replace the defective ones. had same part number with a -1 after the 5 digit number... don't know if they are still doing that or not...or if it is even your problem but worth a...

    Yes, it will bolt up and work just fine. The Windsor series from 260, 289, 302, 5.0, 351W all have the same bolt pattern for front of engine block and same mount point in the heads for accessories. pm me a zip code for ship quote.

    I vote for 408 like Paul said. Consider Explorer E.D.I.S. fuel injection for reliability. I did 351W years ago and wish I went bigger. The 351 rocks but I imagine the 408 rocks more...

    Normally I am flexible with subtracting parts but right now supply is a bit tight and I'm short on alt brackets, not to mention a couple people deep line wise. I can get back to you in the near future hopefully. going to be hitting a few yards this weekend...
