Dana 20 with twin sticks - best practice guide

I have 4R70W/NP205 combo and 2nd & 3rd gear in low range are what I usually run. Trans temps get out of hand if I run high range. run around mostly in 3rd gear and if I start slowing just dump it in 2nd to get the revs back up...

    Explorer PS pump vs Saginaw?

My Explorer pump turns 35s (15.5 wide) 4x4x2 box and hydroboost. When I air them down to 4 psi the pump struggles a bit ( on pavement) but works fine for street air pressure.

    C4 vs C6

C4 is a neat little trans that can be built to handle some serious hp. Pretty simple to rebuild too. I don't see any advantage to the C6.

    Engine ideas...

I wish I had done this when building my 351 15 years ago... It runs so nice, I just can't justify going back into it... but more torque & hp would always be nice!

    Nitto Mud Grappler opinions

5001Craig has those tires and really likes them. I talked to him a bit about them. The downside is as you mentioned on the street... My truck is primarily for the dunes but would also like to hit Woodward Dream Cruise and other misc. driving.

I would love to get atleast 2. The fronts go from fully aired up to flat in 6 hours. Cracks in side walls adjacent to tread blocks. I have looked on craigslist and Facebook market place with out any luck so far and dune season is fast approaching. Not sure when M.T. stopped making them...

    Nitto Mud Grappler opinions

Looking to replace my 35" Baja Claws. Mickey Thompson isn't making the 15.5 wide bias ply anymore and I got 2 that no longer hold air. Wondering if anyone had any experience with the Nitto Mud Grappler, 35"x14.5x15s. I like the wide footprint for flotation. Running the dunes is the primary...
