Super Cel. or Bob Seger Concert?

I have seen Seger twice and he puts on a great show. Very honest, authentic music. Not canned or autotuned or what ever they call it... Bob is getting up there in age and won't be around touring much longer. I have not yet been to SC so I don't have a direct comparison. Save your pennies...

    Explorer EFI on a 351w

I have that set up on my truck and love it. So much better than a carb, especially offroad. EFI Guy hooked me up with a harness and the tune. Cam sensor took a bit of custom work for me. Used the cam sensor shaft from a 3.8L engine. I had the housing welded and turned to match the larger hole in...

    Best way to balance 37s

If you air down alot for off roading there is a chance the tire will move relative to the rim making balance weights useless. thats the reason my tires aren't balanced. Was not aware of "marbles" at the time. I would be tempted to try them...

If I recall correctly, viperwolf had one but not 100% positive on that. I've briefly tried to get one in my truck but just seemed too tight... and not sure how it attaches to the block as the threads seemed different...

Running in 4WD hi at high speed with the Dana20

No problems with high range, only low. Last failure I lost a tooth on the spur gear. another 2-3 minutes of running and the tooth found its way in between meshed gears and made boom sound. corncobbed the slider gear and fractured the case...

Running in 4WD hi at high speed with the Dana20

I've broke 3 20s running around in the sand. Never broke a rear output, probably due sand and not hooking up. All my failures were related to the teeth on the low range rears. Only run low range out in the sand to keep trans temps manageable. The high range helical gears are much stronger than...

    rear disk question

I struggled with this last winter. The Currie spacers combined with set 20 bearings stuck way too far out for my taste. When I torqued the retaining bolts it bent the retainer plates. I ended up cutting off the set 20s and went with the regular bearings with custom machined spacers. I also have...

    Rear disc conversion kits

If you have a medium duty (Torino) axle housing, take a look at the Explorer rear disc. Brackets bolt right up to housing but you will have to do machine work to rotors or buy the conversion ones. I used a Wilwood adjustable prop valve.
