Anybody running this?

I have had the FORD style EFI on my rig for quite a long time but it occurred to me that I might want to try it on my new engine install.

Question is: How do you make the dizzy or what was the dizzy work on the 351w?

TIA B

There’s a cam synchro from a v6 Explorer that will work with a spacer. PM EFIGuy for specifics.

I keep looking at a 1996 roller 351 van at my junk yard and thinking of pulling it and a Explorer harness, Explorer gt 40 P heads, explorer upper intake thats in the same yard and doing the swap.

I have that set up on my truck and love it. So much better than a carb, especially offroad. EFI Guy hooked me up with a harness and the tune.
Cam sensor took a bit of custom work for me. Used the cam sensor shaft from a 3.8L engine. I had the housing welded and turned to match the larger hole in the 351W block. Others have used spacers to adapt the 5.0 cam sensor to the 351 block.
I do have an upper/lower up for sale if interested...

I also offer adapters that let you use a 3.8 cam sensor in the Windsor. It requires a 351m/400 oil pump drive shaft, and you either have to fab your own hold-down or use a longer bolt with a spacer. But, it lets you use readily available replacement parts.

The prototype fits perfect. But I need to get my printer wired up and programmed (story of my life) to start printing them in a higher temp material. I also want to get some decent test time on them before I offer them for sale to make sure they hold up to the engine heat.
