    Floor Pans Help

I used self tapping screws as well, I would recommend buying the ones with the "bolt" style head instead of like the phillips screwdriver type head, I always strip those ones out and they are harder to get started without holding onto them since they tend to shoot out from under the drill  .

Progress Photos - Updated 5-10-05 - Need paint advice!

Did you try tack cloth? I took an auto body class in HS and I remember that was always like the last thing we did was wipe down the body with tack cloth. Other than that i dont know, could also try wetting down floor and walls and such to reduce the amount of dust getting disturbed???

    Which 4-link do you like?

Thanks for the book references! Does anyone have any info on where to find the computer programs that help you design a link setup? Or the names of a good one or some good ones?

Finish it or let it go ?

i have no idea what it would be worth but i think you would be crazy for getting rid of it with as much work as you have already put into it. Why not just let it sit for a while until you can work on it again? I have been replacing body panels on my bronco for almost a year and this is only the...

    Which 4-link do you like?

No, I think that makes sense. But doesnt the axle move with factory leaf springs? Forward when compressed and rearward when drooped right?

    Which 4-link do you like?

Any idea of where a guy could find this program? Is this the one that most people use? Oh and could someone explain to me what flex steer is? Im assuming it has to do with the rear axle moving while flexing out.

Are those F-250 shock mounts or are they something different? If so where did you get them? I like the look of them with the holes in them.

    Welding on Frame Question?

How about the post about the radius arm mounts? I will also be installing my long arms soon and was planning on welding the mounts to the frame, what would be the best way to go about this? I suppose I could cut out a diamond shape of steel, weld that to each side of the brackets and then weld...

    Bare metal question

I have actually been using some por-15 and have used it on other things as well with good results. On this project i painted the portions of the inner rocker panels as well as the inside of the rocker panels themselves, not sure how it held up on there after welding(there was a little more smoke...

    Bare metal question

I have spent the past few months replacing lots of rusty metal on my bronco and i am wondering what I can do keep it from rusting over the winter since I will not have the money to get it painted for a little while yet. It will be remaining indoors all winter but the shop that I have it in is...

    I now own a 66 and a 77!

Good find! I really like your '77 though. How did you do that camo paint job? It looks like some perfect wetland camo like you would see on hunting clothes (like realtree camo). Very cool!

    tranny coolers

I would mount it in front of your radiator, thats where I have always run mine. The problem i see with running it under your driver seat is it will probably get beat up pretty bad from rocks getting thrown at it from your tires or getting packed with mud when off road, and there also isnt going...

    Got an engine, few ?s

Ok, I finnaly bought and engine for the EB project. Its an 5.0 HO out of an '88 mustang, i was a little disapointed though I thought '88s were mass air so I thought I could score the harness and computer also but it was speed density so I just got the complete engine with injectors(yellow ones...

    Allen Jacksons Bronco?

I agree that Alan just calls it a jeep cuz it rhymes and its easier to understand I suppose for the average non bronco loving person. Oh and I did read in a petersons magazine at one time that Ford was actually the first one to make the "jeep" when the army made the call for one, I love to tell...
