I just bought some 16x8 steel black rims and put a 265/75/16 (32x11) toyo open county at's on them. They are quiet on the road and give me better gas mileage then the MT's I had on before. I am pretty much always on the road but that being said I took her up to Gore last month for the MEB...

I got a set of these off eBay but have not mounted them yet, how did you do it? Sorry to hijack the post but I've been pondering for a few weeks now. Putting there can you get something on the back of a bolt or did you just screw them into the metal?

Broke down on the trip back with 112 miles to go due to some sort of fuel issue (AAA tows 100 or less for free). Restarted every couple minutes and limped along until finding a service station 93 miles from home, woohoo Plus part is all the gas money I saved, haha :)

If you run the bestop bikini top it comes with a riser that mounts on the top of the windshield that covers the motor sticking up. I just mounted one on mine. I have not put the bikini top on yet but that riser gives it a cleaner look imo

Yeah I opened the front of the motor again to recheck eccentric. I am going to put an electric pump In line today and see if it fixes the issue. I will also order a gauge to put inline as well so I can know the pressure. I will update when I get some answers for you guys, thanks for the help

So when you are adding this electric pump I take it you are also removing the mech one?

yeah mine was on from the PO and I thought it was a quick check option as well. If it wasn't for that at the moment I wouldn't know the fuel was dropping. I will check into the gauge

I bypassed everything and ran a brand new hose out of a gas can sitting on the fender with the same results. Also of course brand new lines from the pump to the carb. As far as the glass filter goes if thats a bad idea I will remove it. I don't need to add fire to my list of things going wrong :)

I am also not sure of the pressure. I can check with buddies and see if anyone has something to test that and get an answer for you.
