    Early Bronco Heater

Heater removed from a 1972 Bronco. I also have the knob for the heater and the cable that hooks up to the defroster, just not in the pictures I have taken. The heater core may need to be replaced since the tube ends got damaged when I removed the heater. This is easy to replace, just letting...

    Moving to Colorado

Thanks for the help guys. Do you have any recommendations on a good shop near the Castle Rock area for carb work in case I mess it up? Thanks

    Moving to Colorado

Well it is newly rebuilt 302, Quadrajet, dual flowmasters 40 series, newer headers, no smog stuff anymore. I guess it runs clean, who knows I have never had to smog it. I guess put some good gas in it, make sure it is warmed up, tweak the carb for the altitude and hope for the best? I am not...

    Moving to Colorado

Thanks for the advice. It looks like the Air Care Colorado web site said 1975 and newer vehicles needed some of the visual inspection. I am at basic sea level now, I take it up to 7000 feet all the time but I have to tweak it a bit when I do so it will run better. Does it matter that it is not...

    Moving to Colorado

Smog Help - Colorado Do you guys have any advice on the visual inspection? I have a 72 Bronco and am totally smog exempt in California so I am not sure what to expect. I can't seem to find much on the visual inspection, just about the sniffer tests from the websites. We will be living in...

    Disc Brake Pads

Hi guys, can someone help me out with a part number for disc brake pads? My brother has the D44 in his 72 Bronco with disc brakes. (this axle was not stock, added by previous owner, assuming out of 76-77 bronco) I am helping my brother change rotors, pads and bearings and was going to replace...

JP Rock Eater Transfer Case Gears

Thanks for the info. Do you know on the C4 if you put it in second if it stays in second the whole time? My brother asked me this and I was not sure to be honest even though I drive the thing all the time. ;D I just want to make sure I can still stop!

JP Rock Eater Transfer Case Gears

When you say big tires and low gears, what are you typically talking about? I have 33" and may go to 35" tires, 3.50 in the diffs and stock elsewhere. I drive like an angel when I am crawling.

JP Rock Eater Transfer Case Gears

Thanks for the details Chuck. I am still confused on what I should do next. Do I have to upgrade the output shaft? Any other problems I might run into?

JP Rock Eater Transfer Case Gears

Yeah I looked at the tera lows but the increase in crawl ratio is not much for the price and the extra work on the tcase. I still need a locker in the front and new axles and a wedding on the way so money is not free flowing right now if you know what I mean. Chuck, how necessary is this...
