    My LS3/6L80e Engine Swap…..no haters please.🙏

The wires were part of my coil pack relocation kit. I haven’t looked at this yet. Hope there’s not a problem. What headers do you have? Mine are Sanderson.

    My LS3/6L80e Engine Swap…..no haters please.🙏

I feel like I've crossed a major milestone on this build. From the Radiator to the Transfer case, everything is installed. It been a big clime to get to this point, but it feels like it's downhill from here. When I did a similar project 10 years ago on my 72 corvette, it took 2 years. I...

    My LS3/6L80e Engine Swap…..no haters please.🙏

My panic was a bit of an over-reaction, but was a concern. I called Atlas tech support for help. My first concern was the rotation angle of the Atlas itself, which is designed to have a maximum of 46 degrees of rotation. I’m at about 44, so i should be okay. The install was fairly simple...

Atlas install question, as I learn after the fact. I have no idea what my front driveshaft angle was. As I pre-installed the atlas, I had it rotated about 45 degrees. I test fit the drive shaft and called it good. Modified my transmission cross member for clearance. Now I’m re-installing...

    My LS3/6L80e Engine Swap…..no haters please.🙏

I did a test fit of the Atlas 2 this weekend. I was concerned that the transmission cross member that I fab’d up would be an issue for the front drive shaft. Sure enough It was. Simple fix thougH, I just need to “step down” the cross member 2 1/2” lower from the tranny to the drivers side...

The headers got worked out. Sanderson, but different ones on each side per my earlier posts. I had to cut a little bit of the inner fender well on the passenger side for one of the tubes to clear. It fits with no issues with the frame. I haven’t hooked up the exhaust yet, but I don’t feel...

DD, question for you. My SS braided fuel lines are from WH, #9672. Can it be used for other applications such as transmission fluid lines and the hydraulic lines on the power steering box and hydro boost brake?

    '71/'76 Badass Bronco Bronco Build

Back on post 185 you can see a good pic of your radiator hose. It looks like a custom bend, fit for your application. Is that right and how did you do it? I made one for my LS Swap, but it's pieced together with clamps.

Okay, I'm done with my summer hiatus and I'm back at it. As we all know many things get in the way of our projects. For me it was work, family, vacation, summer heat in TX, project burn out, and other fun things to do. But I'm back at it and ready to get this LS Bronco running. So picking up...

    Random wiring questions

Guys, back to this thread. I’ve figured out everything based on all of the help, with the exception of the first pic. In my build I have a Holley Terminator X running my LS3. As Paul noted in his first response as to what those wires are for, I think I can eliminate that entire wiring bundle...

    4 link, ORI's, narrowed D60w/only 2.5" lift, 5"+WB stretch, 2" floor lower, P/S....,

I think you should just put an LS3 in it and be done With issues. Yeller, any thoughts?

Regarding my radiator, my plan was to fab an aluminum hold down bracket mounted on the top, and let it rest on the bottom two rubber supports that I fab'd up. They both have a 1/2" lip that will hold the radiator in place. Does this sound like a good plan or is there something I'm overlooking.

So yesterday I cleaned up the fender trimming and got my heater hoses back in place. Once that was done I decided to tackle the radiator mounts. I took a couple pieces of 1/4” angle and fab’d the supports, mounted to the old bottom support bracket. All seemed to work fine, but I’m now...

Looking for pics of Lokar’s 6R80 (or other similar floor shifters) shifter installed in a Bronco

Here's where I ended up. Dan Carr custom console with Lokar ss shifter and JB twin shifter, both cable drive to a 6L80 and AS Atlas TC. It's designed to mate up to my existing Tuffy console.

So you’re all saying stay focused on the header option. Punt on the Hooker exhaust manifolds.
