    j-shift problems???

Well I checked the linkage, it's all tight(for a 30 year old rig), my engine mounts are good and the body isn't hitting the shifter. Could something inside be messed up enough to do that? It shifts and acts the same as it always did except the jumping into neutral. I'm afraid to go wheeling...

    j-shift problems???

Has anyone ran into problems with the j-shift jumping fron 2-hi into neutral, it did it three times today on the hi-way today. I was wondering if the shifter was moving, so I wraped my cb cord around it and it still did it. I abused it pretty hard on some hill climbs, prior to this problem...

    Cropping Bumper

I ran mine cut like that for a long time, (till I got a protofab bumper) and I love it. It gives you a killer departure angle, my rear is still cut like that, but I also put big rings in the frame so I can pull out heeps.

    Dual Batteries?

I run a isolator with the two positive leads connected w/ solenoid in case I need to jump from one battery to the other. There are lots of ways to run dual batteries but it's best to have them isolated.

Which oil pan on a 351W?

I ran a van pan for a year or so, but if you botton it out, you will dent the pan. I dented it so many times, I finally ordered a pan from summit, it fits great, they had the best price I could find 134.00(or something like that)

    Valve stem seals.

I have the same problem, my engine only has about 5000 miles, but I got it real hot a few times prior to installing a better radiator. Mine only smokes for a second when you start it tho. Are they just a rubber seal that deteriates over time? I guess that's next on my list..

    Rear discs....worth it?

I love having four discs, the advantages are in the sand, mud, and water. I like having more control, not necessarily more stopping power. I enjoyed getting rid of all that weight (clutter) in the back. I have chevy discs in the front and bc's in the rear, a manual line lock and don't need a...
