Hey guys, New here. I picked up a 66 bronco last fall that was in need of some TLC. I'm now just getting it to the point of being able to drive it and I've ran into a few problems with the wiring. My left front blinker (drivers side) does not work nor does the indicator light on the guage work for that side..but they both work when I turn the hazards on. I also have no guage cluster lights ..I've replaced the column switch and put a new light switch in the dash. ..I started digging Round in the wiring to see what else my problem could be and I have found a few cut wires and a few connectors that I'm not sure where they go. Not sure if it has anything to do with my blinker or dash light problem or if it something completely different that I haven't found yet. .anyways I've attached some photos and was curious if anyone could help shed some light on what might be going on
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Derick

I replaced the column switch and the dash switch for the lights. is it possible its the hazard switch? I figured it wasn't that since the hazards all work. just not sure what else my blinkers would go thru

Get a test light! Download the wiering schematics, and start testing the cut wires. Pm me if u like and I can send u the schematics that I use. I think the one in your second picture is for the factory radio. Yellow brown one in your third picture I believe runs to driver side rear indicator. You will be able to confirm it all with a test light, and lots of patients! All the best

Unfortunately too, as Viperwolf was discussing in another thread last week, the '66's often were a beast of their own when it came to wiring. Some colors were older Ford colors, some newer like the rest of ours.

The Blue w/red tracer in the first pic is likely for the optional Map Light that mounted under the dash. Comes on only when the light switch is in it's full-bright position with the final click.
And speaking of that, are you testing your dash illumination lights with the light switch rheostat in it's max position? That would be just before it clicks. They'll still have power even after the click, but at least the click will tell you that you're at max bright, vs minimum.

Good luck.

Wouldn't hurt to search out that thread about the '66 wiring. Just to see if colors are different for yours.
For instance, in that last image, normally the only Black w/green wire is to the center of the ignition switch (it's NOT a ground!) and is for all the accessories that get power in both RUN and ACC positions.
And the only Yellow wire is power to the ignition switch.
Normally... But '66's are anything but normal sometimes.
