Interesting. Your body tub now looks like a 72 or 73.
So you say it’s a 68?
The frame is a ‘69, not sure about the tub. I got the small marti report and it said my VIN was a candy apple red paint job and this tub does not appear to have been repainted at all. So I’m assuming the tub and frame are not original to each other.

Question, did you ever get an over all width?

I’m assuming the wheels are 4-1/2” back space? Or are they 5”?

It’s coming together. Can’t wait to see it moving under its own power!
I want to say the wheels are 4-1/2” back space.

I will take some measurements hopefully this week.

Thank you! One day she will be cruising around.

Took a couple measurements
82” wide to the outside of the tires
27 3/16” to the bottom of frame below the body mount under the front floor boards.

That’s narrower than I expected by a couple of inches. Mine is 81-1/2 with 17x8 wheels with 4-1/4” of back spacing.
Narrower than I would expect as well. I have 05+ super duty front narrowed to 67 wms. With 39x13.5x17 tires on 17x9 wheels w 4.25 backspace I'm 83.5 outside of tire width.

I have to say, your build is super clean. Well done!

Your build is looking great!
So what WMS did you end up with? I’m assuming you only shortened the passenger side? Did you need to turn your C’s to adust castor?
Thanks,
Kyle

It’s a full width 08 super duty axle at 72”, nothing has been shortened.
No I adjusted the caster using the upper radius arm to get 7*.

Looks nice! If you've got time I recommend JBFab's adjustable shift detents for the NP205. Makes shifting it a lot easier

Notched the ZF5 and mounted the NP205. Next up is to modify the BC Broncos ZF5 crossmember as it doesn’t fit mine for some reason? BC did say that’s why they don’t list them for sale anymore when I bought it. Then also build a crossmember to hold up the back end of the NP205. No one on here was lying when they said it was a tight fit!

My BC crossmember didn't fit all that great either. I didn't have to do much to make it fit, but that was years ago and probably a different batch of crossmembers.
