351W waterpump reverse rotation, passenger side inlet for explorer serpentine.

I used the factory radiator from a early 90s explorer cause they're narrower with great results 10 years now with the explorer pump, hoses, fan, and shroud.

Use the complete Explorer Front dress on the 351W. Timing cover forward.

I also recommend the FlowKooler #1666 Explorer replacement Water Pump.

There are no passenger side inlet pumps for the Explorer front dress.

wondering if anyone tried to modify a water pump with success.

You are over thinking it.
Just do a crossover tube.
yes i did. someone mentioned to me to go with a passenger side inlet so i wanted to find out if there was an option out there available to us.

With a crossflow radiator you would also have to move the upper to the other side as well, so it would cross flow through the core.

Or get really fancy and make a dual pass. In this case there are 3 radiator tanks, 2 small ones on one side (in and out) and a transition tank on the other side. This is often done with an internal wall so the 2 tanks are in one shell, just a wall dividing separating the hot and cold water.
